About Us

Jovaki Agro Food India India Pvt. Ltd.

Jovaki Agro Food India Pvt. Ltd., established in 2017 and headquartered in Udaipur, Rajasthan, is more than a food processing company—it is a beacon of sustainable change. Rooted in a mission to empower over 1,500 tribal women across 50+ villages, Jovaki is dedicated to fostering self-reliance, community growth, and environmental stewardship.

Our journey began with a vision to give back to nature and society, inspired by the wisdom and resilience of India’s tribal communities. Specializing in processing underutilized forest fruits such as custard apple, Jamun, and Amla, we are committed to creating a sustainable value chain that benefits both the environment and the communities we work with. By sourcing raw materials directly from tribal women, we ensure fair trade, support regenerative farming, and preserve the ecological balance.

At Jovaki, we believe in preserving the rich knowledge of our tribal heritage while promoting organic and hygienic food products. Our operations are not just business ventures—they are a testament to the transformative power of collaboration, sustainability, and innovation.

Mission

Our mission is to improve the lives of tribal women by providing them a stable means of livelihood and increased household income.

Our Story

Custard apple grows in about 20,000 hectares of the forests in Rajasthan. Harvesting this wildly grown fruit and selling it in the nearby villages and markets was the main source of livelihood for the tribal women in our district. Ripe fruit when harvested has a shelf life of 1 day and all the unsold fruits will have to discarded at the end of the day. The tribal women had to walk for long distances to take it to the nearby villages and they often had to sell the fruits at a very low price as the buyers had great bargaining power due to the fact that the fruits will either have to be sold before evening or discarded as waste. Mr. Rajesh Ozha arrived at an entrepreneurial solution for this problem by setting up a processing plant which added value to the produce by processing it and increasing the shelf life. The fruits are not available throughout the year and grows only during a horizon of about 2 months every year. Thus, processing the fruits also makes them available throughout the year.
